Pippa, the fire prevention device that makes people safer when cooking in their homes

Pippa makes residents and property safer by monitoring cooking hazards using an intelligent temperature sensor and thermal imaging and alerting you when there is a risk of fire. The AI-powered thermal imaging device keeps a constant watch on your stove.
Serial inventor Dr Samuel Bailey from Hammersmith recently swept up in a Dragons' Den episode where he gained investment £150,000 from three heavyweights Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden and Touker Suleyman.

Samuel Bailey explains Pippa’s potential at home, in care settings and across social & private housing. ”Cooking fires are a massive hidden danger in the home. Cooking starts around half of all house fires, and a near miss is often a reason to put an elderly person into care, costing their families, and the government, huge amounts of money. Pippa is a huge leap forward in kitchen safety, providing an extra layer of safety on top of smoke alarms, which can false alarm and be slow to respond to real fires. The tech is a great enabler of independent living amongst elderly and vulnerable communities in particular, keeping a literal eye on their stoves.”
“I firmly believe Pippa is the future and will be in every home + residential care setting in a few years time.”
